Winter Tree Trail
Tuesdays 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
A Gardens naturalist will take you on an easy guided snowshoe tour. Turn your eyes up to the trees to understand their role in the mountain ecosystem. Warm up afterward with a cup of hot chocolate and engage in drop-in activities available in the Education Center. Sign up online to secure your spot and plan to arrive 10 minutes before your tour and dress warm.
Cost: $10 Includes snowshoe rental.
WINTER WEB OF LIFE
WEDNESDAYS 10.30 - 11.30AM
This intermediate tour will wander through the riparian ecosystem of Gore Creek and learn about some of the early Vail settlers. Explore the local environment and discover alpine animal and plant adaptations. Warm up afterwards with a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy the winter exhibit at the Education Center.

SELF-GUIDED
A self-guided Tree Trail snowshoe tour is available mid-December through March, daily 10:00am–3:00pm. Snowshoes and poles are available at the Education Center in adult & youth sizes. Snow permitting. Cost: $5 rental.
