Nick Courtens Series: Eagle County EcoFlora Project Wildflower Walk in Maloit Park
- Join us for a hands-on exploration of the Eagle County EcoFlora Project and walk through Maloit Park! Learn more about the Eagle County EcoFlora Project and how to utilize iNaturalist to contribute to this community-science project. We’ll be taking a leisurely 2 mile walk through beautiful Maloit Park, just south of the town of Minturn, to identify the local flora and talk about botany, iNaturalist, and community science.
- This event is part of the Nick Courtens Series, which aims to honor the legacy of our late Curator of Plant Collections, Nick Courtens, through community engagement and native flora appreciation. After the walk, all are welcome to picnic and keep the conversation going.
