Main project: Sand and stain the iconic benches that provide a place for relaxation in the Gardens. Join your neighbors and help the Gardens start the season strong. Lunch provided, all ages welcome.
Parking available at Ford Park parking lot. Bring a hat, water bottle and wear comfortable work clothes. Meet at the Gardens’ Education Center. All tools and materials provided. (If you have a sander, please bring it with you.)
By signing up, I accept the invitation of Betty Ford alpine Gardens to participate in volunteer activities on and off the Gardens’ premises. By participating in volunteer activities, it is my intention to donate both my time and expertise for the charitable purposes of the organization. I am aware that injuries may occur to participants in indoor and outdoor activities, and it is my intention to fully assume the risk of any such injuries, disabilities, and expenses, including the possibility of an accident resulting in death. I also understand that my participation in these volunteer activities is dependent upon my knowing these risks and voluntary execution of this release. It is my intention to waive and relinquish any claims, which I might have against Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, its officers, directors, agents, or employees in the event that I should sustain an injury, whether minor or severe, disabling and/or terminal. I understand and acknowledge that should I incur an injury as a result of my volunteer activities, I am solely responsible for any costs of medical expenses and that no coverage or insurance will be provided under any policy of insurance held by Betty Ford Alpine Gardens. I give Betty Ford Alpine Gardens permission to use photographs of volunteers that I may appear in for marketing purposes.
