Community Bench Day/Garden Clean Up Day (Volunteers Needed)

It’s National Public Gardens Week May 9 – 18! A week for the public to value their public gardens. We invite you, our community, to help get the Gardens ready for summer.

Main project: Sand and stain the iconic benches that provide a place for relaxation in the Gardens. Join your neighbors and help the Gardens start the season strong. Lunch provided, all ages welcome.

Parking available at Ford Park parking lot. Bring a hat, water bottle and wear comfortable work clothes. Meet at the Gardens’ Education Center. All tools and materials provided. (If you have a sander, please bring with you.)
