Nick Courtens Series: An Introduction to the Eagle County EcoFlora Project and iNaturalist
Are you interested in learning more about the unique flora of Eagle County, CO, and want to contribute to science? Join us for an introduction to the Eagle County EcoFlora Project and iNaturalist on June 19th at 5pm on Zoom! The Eagle County EcoFlora Project is a community-science botany project, powered by iNaturalist, and is a way to connect with other nature-enthusiasts, learn about the diverse ecosystems of Eagle County, and contribute to science. Whether you’re a dedicated botanist or a casual nature lover, all you need is your phone and the free iNaturalist app to join and participate.
In this free webinar, we will go over the purpose of the Eagle County EcoFlora Project and walk you through the basics of iNaturalist to get you started observing! Plus, you’ll get a sneak preview of the upcoming EcoQuests (flower scavenger hunts!).
This event is part of the Nick Courtens Series, which focuses on community engagement and native flora appreciation in honor oh the legacy of our late Curator of Plant Collections, Nick Courtens.
You will receive a link with the zoom login information.
