was truly one of the best experiences of my life. There are very few places that are more pleasant to work at day-in and day-out. Everyone affiliated with the garden (staff, volunteers, etc.) were welcoming and friendly, and all shared the same passion for gardening and the outdoors in general. I came out feeling more knowledgeable and confident about, not just horticulture, but my life and career in general. I made connections and friendships that will indubitably last a lifetime. Outside of work there are more than enough things to keep you busy. Vail and the surrounding area have some of the best hiking, camping, and sights that you could ask for. There’s something to do every night of the week in-town and there’s always someone willing to show you how to find it.
