Mindfulness in the Mountains: Guided Nature Therapy
Take a slow, two-hour walk through the alpine gardens and really notice your surroundings.
Inspired by the practice of shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, we’ll move gently and connect with our senses, paying attention to the sights, sounds, textures, and smells of the natural world. Gentle prompts guide your observation and reflection, inviting you to experience the gardens in a mindful, present way. Time spent in nature is associated with reduced stress and improved mood, though each person’s experience is unique. It’s a chance to step away from your usual pace, spend time outside, and deepen your connection with nature.
