Proper Pruning Workshop

Expert advice and pruning demonstrations on large trees to small shrubs: learn tips and tricks to cutting away branches and stems to increase garden growth. Meet at the North entrance of the gardens. FREE for members and volunteers, $10 for general public.

Evening Speaker Series Webinar: Dr. Chris Ray, CU Boulder, “The American Pika: Climatic Influences on Distribution Throughout Western North America”

Chris studies and models the dynamics of plant and animal populations, focusing especially on threatened species with fragmented populations. Her long-term project involves research on the American Pika, a species most impacted by alpine climate change. This webinar is free with the option for donation to the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens.
