Searching for the Elusive Harrington’s Penstemon

June 16 @ 9:00 am 11:00 am

Did you know Eagle County is home to a very rare and beautiful flower? In fact, West Avon Preserve is one of the only places in the world you can find the elusive Harrington’s Penstemon. Come out to see this rare beauty and learn about the abundant life in the sagebrush community.

As part of the Community Land Connection Series, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, Eagle Valley Land Trust, and the Town of Avon will co-lead a hike on West Avon Preserve teaching about the wildflowers and other plants found in the sagebrush community. West Avon Preserve is conserved forever through a valuable partnership between Eagle Valley Land Trust and the Town of Avon.

This hike is free and open the public but space is limited.  Register below to secure your spot.
