Science Elevated Speaker Series: Tundra Plants in a Warming World

July 12 @ 5:30 pm 7:00 pm

Sarah Elmendorf, Institute of Alpine and Artic Research, will explain what effects warming temperatures have on the alpine environment and what the future may look like.

Alpine and arctic regions are characterized by their short growing seasons, high snowpack and cold temperatures. Sarah will discuss what changes can be expected in the unique flora that inhabits these harsh growing conditions under a changing climate.

Join us for light appetizers and drinks at 5:30pm with presentation starting at 6:00pm.

Tickets do not need to be printed.
