Betty Ford Alpine Gardens Rooftop Terrace is a great location to host your next corporate or private event. The Gardens have proven to be the most unique setting in Vail, giving you and your guests an experience not to be forgotten.

Event Space

We are pleased that you are interested in holding your event at Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, the highest public botanic garden in North America. The combination of beautiful colors and incredible rugged beauty of the Gore Range Mountains in the background make this a very special location. Below you will find information regarding the use of the Gardens. Your contribution supports the care and maintenance of Betty Ford Alpine Gardens.

  • Time slots are offered in four hour increments; setup and breakdown is included in that time frame.
  • Reservations are confirmed only by receipt of payment. Additional charges will be incurred for any equipment or staff needs that you may require. 
  • There are several electrical outlets located on the Rooftop for a simple PA system. Amplified music requires a special permit and is not encouraged.
  • For use of the Ford Amphitheater, please call the Vail Valley Foundation – (970) 949-1999.
  • Alcohol is permitted on the Rooftop Terrace with a TIPS trained bartender and cannot be taken off premises.
  • Parking is available in Ford Park Parking Lot and the Vail Parking Structure. The Gardens are a 5-10 minute walk or bus ride from Vail Village. The Town of Vail may institute paid parking for the Ford Park parking lot during special events.
  • Events operate rain, snow or shine. Indoor backup for events may be arranged through your host hotel or reception venue. Please contact them for details.
  • Betty Ford Alpine Gardens are part of the multi-venue Ford Park. During our exciting summer season many events are simultaneously scheduled. Though we are not responsible for any events that are planned through Town of Vail, Vail Recreation District (Softball fields), and or Vail Valley Foundation (Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater) our organizations work closely together to manage this space for the enjoyment of all.
  • Vehicle and vendor access is limited due to the Park complex usage restrictions. Vendor access is limited to (2) vehicles per event booking for drop-off of items and vehicles may NOT be left within the perimeter of Ford Park.
