Betty Ford Alpine Gardens Education Center was completed in Summer of 2015. The facility provides visitors with several hands on learning activities, an Alpine House and information on the alpine environment and related topics. The Education Center is open year round and provides an educational experience for guests of all ages through displays, traveling exhibits, workshops and videos.

The Alpine House is a cold greenhouse which mimics our alpine environment. The House is monitored and regulated through temperature control and allows Betty Ford Alpine Gardens to house some of the rarest plants 365 days a year.

The Kirsten E. Liebhaber Memorial Library
In partnership with the Town Of Vail Public Library, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens is now connected to the Marmot online database. The library is located in the Education Center. It is a non-circulating collection whose primary purpose is to support staff research and Members’ gardening needs.
