Organization
Founded in 1986, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization governed by an independent and diverse Board of Trustees. These community leaders guide the organization to ensure fulfillment of the Garden's mission as an educational resource.

Funding
The operations and programs of Betty Ford Alpine Gardens are funded entirely through the generosity of our donors, which include individuals, businesses, private and public foundations and the Town of Vail.

Gifts of Stock and Other Securities: Giving appreciated stock, mutual funds or other securities can help you avoid capital gains taxes while providing important support to the Gardens.

Endowment Gifts: A contribution to our growing endowment allows your gift to support the Gardens in perpetuity, by providing interest income from a permanent fund corpus.

Memorials and Honorariums: Remember a loved one through a memorial gift or honor a special person in your life for their birthday, anniversary or other special occasion while supporting programs at Betty Ford Alpine Gardens. We will notify your friends or the family of your gift and list it in our newsletter and our commemorative book.

Named Gifts: Make a lasting impression to honor or memorialize someone by naming a bench or special area of the Gardens. Many opportunities for lasting memorials and tributes are available.

In-Kind Gifts: Gifts of goods and services help support our horticulture, education and research efforts and may provide you with a charitable gift deduction.
