Our guest speaker, Susan Panjabi, will talk about the plants that are infrequently found and her efforts to find and describe them. Susan Spackman Panjabi is a Botanist with the Colorado Natural Heritage Program at Colorado State University. She has focused her research on the rare plants of Colorado for the past 20 years and is the principal author of the Colorado Rare Plant Field Guide. Susan works with a state-wide team of botanists on the Colorado Rare Plant Conservation Initiative, which aims to boost the effectiveness of rare plant conservation efforts across Colorado.
