Betty Ford Alpine Gardens is pleased to offer a number of fun, interactive programs to introduce you to the natural world of the gardens and to educate and deepen your connection with nature. We’ll even cook for you!

 

 

Guided Tours

Take a tour with a knowledgeable docent and learn more about the gardens, the plants within it and the history. Allow about 45 mins to 1 hour. Pick up a ticket at the Schoolhouse and meet at the main entry gate. Yoga in the Gardens

Join our Garden yogi’s for a flowing yoga practice set in nature’s studio! The sounds of birds and waterfalls fill the air as you engage in a practice that invites more health and happiness into your life, pose by pose and breath by breath. Seasoned yogis and complete beginners alike will find benefit in this unique experience of communing with nature through yoga. Mats available. Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 9:00-10:15 am Offered Memorial Day through Labor Day $12 per person

 

Chefs in the Gardens

Live cooking demonstrations from local chefs from area restaurants, share culinary tips and recipes. Check out the website for the updated list of Chefs. Thursdays at noon July 10- August 14 $5 per person

 

Garden Volunteer Days

Come and join us in the Gardens for an informal work session. Tools and gloves provided. Please bring water and a hat- instruction provided. Mondays & Thursdays 9:00 am to Noon Offered May through September. FREE

Painting in the Gardens

Cheryl St. John – Plein Air Painting Workshop Date: Summer 2017 Date to be announced ,   Time: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Price:$ 60 Come join us for a fun day of painting colorful alpine flowers at the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens. All levels of painters are welcome and must have their own supplies. We will be working on composition, design, color mixing and how to simplify to make a beautiful painting.  We will take a lunch break in the garden, so bring a sack lunch to enjoy amidst the flowers. Contact Cheryl to register at [email protected] or 303-947-4428.
