    Jul 9 @ 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

    Award winning photographer John Sheppard conducts photography workshops on Wednesdays, June 25, July 9 and 23, August 6 and 20 from 3:00-5:00 pm. The workshops teach about the use of light, composition, exposure, and framing. Dave Stevens, a photography workshop student from Sun Lakes Arizona remarked “I learned much more than I expected about outdoor photography. John explained about using depth-of-field to enhance scenery photos, shutter speed to enhance water effects and more.” Participants are asked to bring a camera and tripod.     Paint alpine flowers at the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens. Demonstration in the morning with plenty of time to complete two small paintings the remainder of the day. Class will focus on choosing and simplifying the scene,working fast with changing light, keeping it loose, color mixing and values.

    Jon Sheppard Photography Workshop @ Gardens
    Aug 20 @ 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm

    Award winning photographer John Sheppard conducts photography workshops on Wednesdays, June 25, July 9 and 23, August 6 and 20 from 3:00-5:00 pm. The workshops teach about the use of light, composition, exposure, and framing. Dave Stevens, a photography workshop student from Sun Lakes Arizona remarked “I learned much more than I expected about outdoor photography. John explained about using depth-of-field to enhance scenery photos, shutter speed to enhance water effects and more.” Participants are asked to bring a camera and tripod.
